Kugler's activities comprise metal optics for high-capacity lasers (IR – VIS), diamond milling/turning of ultra-precision surfaces with diameters of up to 1500mm, 3D-Micro milling/turning, micro measuring, directly machined plastics for illumination and imaging optics, and molds for replication of mass-produced items by means of diamond or carbide metal machining with or without re-polishing processes.
