The KUGLER Rotary Table RT-264TB is a high precision rotary table with aerostatic bearings, which is specially designed for the demands of ultraprecise measurement.
The distinctive feature of this table is that a very high rpm range can be achieved (up to 150 U/min) in combination with the very highest positioning accuracy, in this case 0.1 arcsec/ absolute.
The primary application of this unit lies in the scope of measuring inner and outer diameters as a stand-alone unit, or for integration with larger measuring machines. The table can also be used as an additional axis of rotation for ultraprecision machines.
The table is outfitted with a high-definition angle measurement system in combination with a very efficient direct drive, and can thus be used as a so-called “absolute measurement system” as well as for constant rotation in the most various measurement tasks.
The use of specially treated aluminum in combination with water or air cooling ensures outstanding long-term thermal stability.
The table can be operated horizontally as well as vertically.
For affixing work pieces, threaded modules are recessed in precision-ground stainless steel support plates with a diameter of 264 mm.
