Tilted flat mirror
90° beam bending in a compact design: for laser focusing heads and other angle-critical applications.
Tilted flat mirrors are used where an angle-precise alignment of mirror surface to the incident beam should be realized in a simple way. Standard in the Kugler laser focusing heads but also in many other fields of applications such as measuring setups, this type of mirror has proven to be successful. Kugler tilted flat mirrors are not only produced for a bending angle of 90° (angle of incident 45°) but often for smaller bending angles (30°, 45°, 60°).
Mounted on a carrier plate with fitting bushes and a comfortable, robust cooling water supply, tilted flat mirrors are sold as mirror units, e.g. for the Kugler LK focusing head series.
